A sweet and simple truffle recipe that only uses 4 ingredients! This recipe only takes about 20 minutes to make and the end products are divine. Now you can impress your friends with these classic Brazilian truffles.
To make 20 brigadeiros:
Ingredients
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 cup chocolate sprinkles (classic recipe - you can use other toppings for a twist!)
Instructions
1. Truffle Mixture: Grease a plate with butter and set aside for later. Add the condensed milk, butter, and cocoa powder to a pan on medium heat and mix the ingredients well until it thickens. Stir for about 10-15 minute until the mixture separates from the pan (if you scrape the mixture with a spoon, the bottom can be seen clearly).
2. Roll Truffles: Pour the truffle mixture onto the lightly greased plate and let it cool completely (refrigerate). With butter greased hands, scoop about a teaspoon of the mixture and roll it into a little ball.
3. Presentation: Roll the truffles in the chocolate sprinkles to coat all sides. Place the balls in mini baking cups. Enjoy!
