Craving freshly baked bread? Well, now you can make your own! This rosemary olive oil bread has a hard, browned crust like most dutch oven breads, but a soft and herb-flavored inside. Perfect for dipping in olive oil or serving it with soup AND it's incredible easy to make - no kneading necessary!
To bake 1 loaf:
Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp active dry yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup fresh chopped rosemary (adjusted for more/less by preference, dried rosemary can be used if you don't have fresh available)
Instructions
1. Dough: In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients except water together. Use a spatula to blend the ingredients while mixing in the water until they are all well-incorporated without any dry flour patches. Don't overmix! Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave it for 12-24 hours (I left it for about 15 hours). The dough will take the shape of its container.
2. Pre-Baking Preparation: Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Place your Dutch Oven in the oven for about 30 minutes to allow it to heat as well. Prepare some parchment paper by sprinkling flour on it. Coat your hands with some flour before forming the dough into a ball shape and placing it on the parchment paper. Loosely cover the dough with plastic wrap and allow it to sit for 30 minutes (the same time needed to heat up the Dutch Oven).
3. Baking: Take out the preheated Dutch Oven and place the parchment paper with the dough on it into the bottom of the oven (careful, the oven will be very hot!). Cover the pot with the lid and bake the bread for 30 minutes. Then, remove the lid and bake for another 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool. Slice and enjoy!

Note: I did not leave my bread in the oven long enough for it to develop a golden-brown crust, something to keep in mind for next time! It still tasted delicious though :).
